Saturday night, after having spent three hours almorzando at a Panchitos, a restaurant in Miraflores, it was decided we would stay in and invite old friends over for a more tranquil gathering.
As a native of Atlanta, Georgia, I have a solid grasp of what a traffic jam consists of. The mental and physical anguish of baking on a five lane highway in bumper to bumper traffic is quite miserable, especially when all you can think about is getting home in time for dinner.
Airport travel is, lets all admit, a bit stressful especially when connecting multiple flights. Maintaining composure while standing in line, barefoot, about to pass through the first security checkpoint can be enough for me to crack. Here is a list of things that I came up with during my twelve hours of travel: Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson -to- Cancun International -to- Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima -to- my final destination, mi querida Trujillo, Peru.
